ToTatyawithLove- Tale of chainsmoker to nosmoker!
Have been an active passive smoker throughout joining my friends on sutta break. In one of the discussions on quitting came a thought that sometimes an external trigger or circumstances end up with people giving up their addiction which otherwise proves difficult. ! This made me think about my Grandfather who shared with us how he went from being a chain smoker to quitting completely one fine day. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------ Tatya ended up in Shimla as an English Babu in 1939 as a 20 year old from Dewas(MP) and started his journey to and fro between summer and winter capitals (Delhi/Shimla). Those were the glorious days of living life king size in the new capital city ! He used to fondly tell how weekends were spent sometime watching 3 english movies in a single day at regal plaza and odeon seeing Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable and Ava Garnder puffing away to glory !
